In the article Parker police bust man in Internet child sex sting from The Rocky Mountain News can relate to everybody.
The article talked about how a 47-year-old man from California was trying to have sex with an underage girl from Colorado. The cops caught him before he did anything. But i think that this is juat outragous. I have sat in many assemblies about how to stay safe online and not give out your information. It's scary how many people out there can find out your exact location just by a very small amount of information. This goes for everyone because you can't just trust someone because you want to. If you don't actually Know them then you shouldn't tell them things they shouldn't know. This shows how many sexual preditors are out there. The world is getting more high-tech each day so they technology to be found is also advancing each day. So kids all around the world need to be really, really careful of who they share information with. That goes for just about anywhere.

In the Nata Village blog "Hard at Work", they are teaching kids how to be hard workers at an early age. Childern in Botswana do house chores along with cattle post chores before and after school which teaches them how they can become good citizens. I connect to this because my parents have taught me since I was very young, to work hard at everything I do and do my chores. They've wanted me to do something great with my life and they taught me that I have to work for it to earn, it isn't just going to be handed to me. Just like most kids are their parents. Just a lot of the time, kids think that they are better then that, so they don't pay attention to it. But then later in their lifes they will regert it and have a harder time then other because they didn't pay attention to thier parents and elders. The kids in Botswana are going to be good, productive members of society because they learned to work hard at a young age.

In The Article, "Get. Off. Paper.", it talks about how we basically use paper everywhere. And how we shouldn't be using it when there are other reasources out there. I think that it's right because we can't be using paper for the rest of our lifes. Sooner or later there will be no paper to use. In the class room and everywhere else when we have other reasources then just paper, we should be using it, like a Word document or the simple notepad on the computer. It's just as easy and you can actually type faster and get more put down when your taking notes. And this is a really big affect on the word, because if we stopped using paper then we wouldn't have to cut down as many trees. So we wouldn't be destorying anymore rainforessest whish is a big thing.

I read "Teacher Sells Ads On Tests from 2 cents worth, by David Warlick. It says that companies will pay $10 to place an ad on a quiz, $20 for a chapter test, and $30 for a semester final. I think that that's a little outrageous, because when we're taking a test or quiz we're focused and then by seeing an advertisment on the paper we're reading or writing on, it would distract us. School is supposed to be a place where we find information and learn it. And even though that's not the case sometimes, if students are taking a test, i hardly think that they would want to find a ad for Monster on it. I know that i wouldn't. It's kind of hypocrital in a sorts. Like, we get into trouble for talking about something we saw on tv or something we saw in an advertisment, but then they put it on our tests. I just think that that's a little overboard. Some kids think that it's cool, but that's their oppion, and we're all objected to our own oppions.
